The Final Contest of the year
We wish to send out a big thank you to all that made the contest a success, and for all the wonderful work that was presented for display and judging. A special thanks goes out to our Junior entrants, seeing thier work, the Senior Division has some competition coming on in a few years!

Remember, if it won this time, it cannot be entered at the next contest. So, get in there and build a model!
Scroll RIGHT for text descriptions.

We had agreat turnout, the best turnout yet!
Several members and visitors entered the contest, and the big thing here was to have FUN! There were a lot of things discussed by our various members, from how to do weathering on models to presentation bases.
Truck, Competition and Jr. Automotive Catagories
The competition catagory was the strongest that we have seen yet! Each contest, our catagories grow as new members join and the word of our contests spreads.
Aircraft Catagory entries including a well done junior entry.
The aircraft catagory had a nice turnout in 1/72 and 1/48 scale. A junior P40E was well recieved. We are happy to see more bases being used.
Armor and Helo catagories--strongest yet.
Andrew checks out the armor catagory, with the strongest showing yet. Included were a Chapparall Air Defense Vehicle, small scale Quad Flak & Matilda, Pershing and M1A1.

Lets see more armor from now on! This is a great catagory, and considering just how much hardware is mounted on wheels and tracks, the field is wide open!
Not quite full yet!
This photo of the truck catagory was taken before the catagory had all entries in place. More entries were added later--we need to have even more entries next year, this is a catagory that can really be filled to the brim. Remeber, if its based on a commercially produced, non-military chassis, its eligible.
A Brand new catagory--Anime
Anime, a brand new catagory for KCSM that has great promise for the future. If a kit was purchased at the Wishing Well, it was eligible to be entered in the Gundam Jackpot contest.

It started as a discussion, then turned into a challenge. Now, see what we went and did!?! There will be a much stronger showing of Anime and fighting suit kits next year for sure. This is a wonderful catagory, and the work presented was inspiring!

The LED Mirage dominates...
Richard Perez's absolutely stunning LED Mirage dominates the Anime table. This kit is HUGE! Ed Shipe checks out the Serpent Custom wearing Marine Pattern camoflauge. A Deathscythe and Nataku were joined by a Junior entry, Wing Gundam!
